Our Story
From Farmland to a Growing Village
Before Silverstream became the community it is today, the wider area formed part of a working dairy farm.
The neighbourhood’s rural beginnings remain part of its identity. Street names throughout Silverstream recognise people connected with the former farm and the development of the community.
As Silverstream grew, landscaped waterways, reserves, pathways and shared spaces were incorporated into the neighbourhood, creating connections between homes, nature and everyday services.
